Amy Adams at Bafta Awards 2013: isn't this outfit better than her Academy's dress?

And the Oscar goes to....

Few hours ago were delivered the prestigious award of the cinema. The Academy Award, as everyone knows, is the biggest cinema's event of the year. Everybody on the the intire world comes or sees the ceremony from their nearest or farest house.
I followed all night long, and I went to bed at six o'clock, but you know what? It definitevely worth it.
At the beginning, as always, the red carpet, a 150 metres long carpet, that welcomed the Stars for their emotionally entrance.
The ceremony, started three hours later, was hosted by Mr Seth McFarlane (creator of Ted, American Dad, The Griffin) and it was pretty different this year. Anything  about the usual seriousness, but gags, comicity, musical, performances and a lot of laugh.
As of the statuettes, the winners succed the Golden Globes tour and the expectations didn't failed.
Ben Affleck's Argo win the most important Oscar for Best Picture, claimed by First Lady Michelle Obama live from the White House. The criticez movie also won the Award for Best Editing and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Life of Pi won four statuettes but the most important one was for Best Director (Ang Lee).
Les Miserables won three Oscars and Anne Hathaway won her first Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.
Amour, from Austria won Best Foreing Language Movie.
Tarantino won Best Original Screenplay for Django Unchained and Christoph Waltz won Best Actor in a Supportin Role for the same movie.
Jennifer Lawrence won her first Oscar for Best Actress in Leading Role in Silver Linings Playbook.
The greates beaten was Lincoln that only won two Oscar and one of them is Best Actor with Daniel Day Lewis.
Adele won Best Song with Skyfall and she performed it on the stage. Other performers were Barbara Streisand in the Memoriam moment and Shirley Bassey with Goldfinger, and standing ovation for her.
So, as always the Academy Awards are still predictable, but they are always amazing, stunning and they made you dream better than a long sleep does.


Poche ore fa sono stati consegnati i prestigiosi premi del cinema. L'Academy Award, come chiunque sa, è l'evento cinematografico più importante dell'anno. Tutti nel mondo lo raggiungono oppure lo guardano dalle loro vicine o lontane case.
Ho seguito la cerimonia tutta la notte e sono andata a dormire alle sei e mezzo del mattino, ma sapete una cosa? Ne è valsa decisamente la pena.
All'inizio, come sempre, c'è stato il red carpet, questo tappeto lungo 150 metri che accoglieva le Star per il loro emozionante arrivo.
La cerimonia, iniziata tre ore dopo, è stata presentata da Seth McFarlane (creatore di Ted, i Griffin) ed è stata abbastanza differente. Nessuno spazio alla solita serietà, ma tante gag, comicità, musical, esibizioni e tante risate.
Per quanto riguarda le statuette i vincitori sono successi al tour dei Golden Globe e le aspettative non sono fallite.

Sorry for my biggest absence. It's been a year, I guess, since I wrote something in this blog.
The truth is that my life is changing, I'm changing.
As you can see from the two recent last posts, also my personality and my taste are changing.
I am not a fashion addicted anymore. I mean, I like to dress good as my personality is, but my life doesn't depend on it anymore.
I am not interesting since about two years I guess, and I think it is obvious from this blog.
I found another passions and I will not describe it, you just can see from this pictures.
These are some of my inspirations, pictures, actors, artist, musician.
I've been also very busy with my University. I'm about to finish it and I am so exicted because I have a lot of projects, ideas and dreams...You will see it, promise.

Mi scuso per questa mia grandissima assenza. E' passato un anno, penso, da quando ho scritto qualcosa su questo blog. La verità è che la mia vita sta cambiando, io sto cambiando.
Da come potete vedere, dagli ultimi due post, anche la mia personalità e i miei gusti stanno cambiando.
Non sono più una fanatica della moda. Voglio dire, mi piace stare attenta a come mi vesto, in base a quello che è la mia personalità, ma la mia vita non dipende più da questo.
Non ne sono più interessata da due anni ormai e penso sia ovvio dal blog.

Power to Pop Corn!

La settimana scorsa si sono svolti gli Mtv Movie Awards 2012. Lo show, condotto da il neo-divorziato Russel Brand, ha visto i protagonisti di Hunger Games sbaragliare la concorrenza e vincere gli ambiti "Pop Corn".

Gli attori purtroppo hanno vinto solo i premi individuali, per il cast c'è stata la vittoria di Harry Potter, con la rappresentante Emma Watson ritirare il premio da sola. Per quanto riguarda The Twilight Saga, non potevano non vincere il premio per miglior film, e per il quarto anno consecutivo il premio "Best Kiss" tra Kristen Stewart e Robert Pattinson che per sfortuna delle fan sfegatate non era presente. K-stew si è consolata comunque da sola. Ecco alcuni momenti della cerimonia e dal red carpet con gli outfit più notati.

A week ago there was the 2012 Mtv Movie Awards. The show, hosted by new divorced Russel Brand, has seen the Hunger Games pupils winning the famous gold Pop Corn. The actors unfortunately only won the individual awards. For Best Cast could not loose Harry Potter with the lonely Emma Watson ritiring the award.

For Twilight Saga of course there was the winning of Best Movie and Best Kiss between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. But sadly for the main fans of them, Pattinson wasn't there. K-Stew has made it all pretty well by herself. Here are sono moments of the night and from red carpet the outfit most noticed.

Sorry for my absence, but I've been so busy in these March's beginning. I've tried to follow the last most important fashion weeks: Milan and Paris. I chose my favourite collection's piece, but for time reasons I gotta put a quick summary of all I liked, I apologize, but I hope you will enjoy my two next posts in the same ways.

Scusate l'assenza, ma sono stata molto impegnata in questo inizio di Marzo. Ho provato a seguire le ultime più importanti settimane della moda: Milano e Parigi. Ho scelto i miei pezzi preferiti, ma per ragioni di tempo devo mettere un veloce riassunto di tutto quello che mi è piaciuto. Chiedo scusa, ma spero vi possano piacere ugualmente i miei prossimi due post.

84th Academy Awards, 2012. And the Oscar goes to...

Poche ore fa si è conclusa l'84esima cerimonia degli Academy Awards. Presentati dal mattatore Billy Crystal, la cerimonia ha visto trionfare The Artist, film francese interamente muto, per: Miglior Film, Miglior Regia, Miglior Attore Protagonista, Miglior Colonna Sonora, Miglior Costumi.

Anche Hugo Cabret di Martin Scorzese ha portato a casa cinque statuette per: Fotografia, Scenografia (Dante Ferretti e Francesca Lo Schiavo), Sonoro, Montaggio del Sonoro e Effetti Visivi.

Tutti premi tecnici per il film di Scorzese. Delusione anche per Woody Allen che ha vinto solo per la Miglior Sceneggiatura del suo Midnight in Paris. 

Oscar per Miglior Film Straniero vinto dall'Iran, con il regista di A Separation di Asghar Farhadi che ha fatto un discorso toccante sul suo Paese, e sulla grave situazione politica che circonda l'Iran. Farhadi ci tiene comunque a separare il popolo iraniano dalla politica iraniana. E il suo discorso ha toccato molto.

Altra emozione per Octavia Spencer che con la performance in The Help ha portato a casa l'Oscar per Miglior Attrice Non Protagonista. Lacrime e Standing Ovation per la 39enne che ha commosso tutti.

The Iron Lady porta a casa due statuette per Miglior Trucco e Miglior Attrice Protagonista con Meryl Streep che porta a casa il suo Oscar per la terza volta.

Mani vuote per George Clooney e Brad Pitt. Tributo agli artisti scomparsi nell'anno passato, tra questi ricordiamo Steve Jobs, Elizabeth Taylor, Whitney Houston.

Voto 10+ a questi Oscar che sanno emozionare e fanno sognare come nessuno sappia mai fare.

New York Fashion Week fall winter 2012-13

Come promesso, vi mostro la settimana della moda Newyorkese autunno inverno 2012 2013.
Tutto dal mio punto di vista. Seguendo per tutta la settimana le sfilate (grazie a vogue.it che riportava in istantanea le documentazioni degli eventi) ho potuto esaminare le creazioni e ho constatato che può essere riassunto tutto in una parola: enciclopedia. Non ho visto molte innovazioni, ma piuttosto un'enciclopedia di moda. Le tendenze rivisitate e modificate secondo la creatività dello stilista. Largo spazio a: tante pellicce, tanta pelle, colori sgargianti alternati al beige invernale che tanto ci piace e non delude mai. E ancora: cappelli vistosi, capelli eccentrici, righe, ricami, e addirittura sorrisi sulle passerelle. Questo è il caso di Anna Sui dove le modelle sorridevano rompendo quella rigidità e donando vita alla collezione.
Alexander Wang punta sul suo tocco aggressivo dando largo spazio al nero e alla pelle che riveste gonne e cappotti lunghi; abbondanza di colori stile plaid (ricami in grigio, rosso, nero), ricami barocchi come quelli utilizzati da Rag e Bone.
Abiti utilizzabili in molte situazioni della vita quotidiana ci vengono forniti da L.a.m.b, Rodarte con la prevalenza del montone, che prevale nella collezione.
La neo affermata stilista Rachel Zoe riporta il suo stile vintage nella collezione.
Diane Von Furstenberg rimane coerente con la sua linea eccentrica basata su colori evidenziatori, mix di colori senza cadere nel cattivo gusto e evitando di fare  l'effetto "pugno nell'occhio".
Ma gli Academy Awards sono vicini ed ecco che stilisti del calibro di Zac Posen, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, Badgley Mischka danno spazio a un quarto della collezione (se non di più) agli abiti lunghi raffinati e perfetti da esibire sul red carpet, con la vana speranza che fashion stylist e grandi nomi hollywoodiani li scelgano, dando loro un ulteriore motivo di orgoglio su questo mondo.

As soon as I promised, I'm going to show you New York Fashion Week fall winter 2012 2013.
All from my point of view. I've been following all the week every fashion shows (thanks to vogue.it which reported immediately events' documentations) and I had the opportunity to examine the creations and I estabilished it can be summarized in one word: encyclopedia.
I didn't see so many innovations, but rather a fashion encyclopedia. The trends revisited and modified from the stylist visual. Wide space to: many furs, many leather, bright colours, eccentric hair, lines, embroideries and even smiles on the runways. It's the case of Anna Sui where the models used to smile breaking that sternness and giving life to the collection.
Alexander Wang aims to its aggressive touch with big space to black colour and leather that dresses long skirts and coats; fullness of plaid's style colour (gray, red, black embroideries),
baroque embroideries like ones used from Rag e Bone.
Clothes that you can dress in very many situations of daily life are presented from L.a.m.b, Rodarte, with prevalence of ram flight jacket which prevails in the entire collection.
New established stylist Rachel Zoe brings her vintage style in her creations.
Diane Von Fustenberg is still consistent with her eccentric figure based on highlighters colours and mixed colours without being bad taste or trying do not doing "fist in the eye effect".
But the Academy awards are close and that's when the biggest designers like Zac Posen, Marchesa, Oscar de la Renta, Badgley Mischka, give space to a quarter of the collection (maybe more) to long, elegant, refined dresses and perfect to dress on the red carpet, with the vain hope that fashion stylist and big Hollywood names will choose it, giving them further proud on this world.

Grammy Awards 2012, the dresses are...

The 2012 Grammy Awards ceremony has passed quite strange. Wrapped in a sad atmosphere caused by the sudden immature loss of "The Voice" Whitney Houston, the ceremony went on with announced waiting win of Adele who brought home six awards and Foo Fighters with five awards.
Empty hands for Lady Gaga who had three nominations. About the performances, on the stage rose: Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Chris Brown's playback, Bruno Mars, Adele, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Foo Fighters, Deadmau5, Coldplay and many more.
Also a tribute to Whitney Houston performed by Jennifer Hudson and an award to Amy Winehouse delivered to her parents.
All hosted by rapper LL Cool J. Red Carpet hosts: Ryan Seacrest and Giuliana Rancic which never disappoint.

True colours...M.I.A

M.i.a (Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam) is a British rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, painter and director of Sri Lanka Tamil descent. Her compositions combine elements of hip hop, electronica, dance, alternative and world music. I love her songs and her way of communication. I think she is pure fresh air.

Her style is also an innovation. She brings her origins and she puts them in her songs and way of life.

M.i.a isn't afraid and I love her because she is nonconformist.

Her style is a mix of West and Middle Est, with predominant Indian colours.

Maybe you don't know it, but I got Middle Est origins too, my parents are Iranians and when I see her she reminds me my beginning culture even if I was born in Italy.

However at the end you can also see the latest video of "Maya" Bad Girls which I adore.

M.i.a è una rapper, cantautrice, produttrice discografica, pittrice e direttrice inglese con origini dallo Sri Lanka Tamil. Le sue canzoni combinano elementi di hip hop, elettronica, dance, alternative musica mondiale. Amo le sue canzoni e il suo modo di comunicare. Penso sia pura aria fresca.

Il suo stile è anche un'innovazione. Prende le sue origini e le mette nelle sue canzoni e nel suo modo di vivere.

M.i.a non ha paura e l'adoro perché è anticonformista.

Il suo stile è un miscuglio tra Occidente e Medio Oriente, con colori indiani predominanti.

Forse non lo sapete, ma ho anch'io origini medio orientali, i miei genitori sono iraniani e quando vedo M.i.a mi ricorda la mia cultura d'origine anche se sono nata in Italia.

Comunque, alla fine potrete vedere l'ultimo video di "Maya" Bad girls che adoro.

Kate Moss is a living legend, and is one of my biggest inspiration. My style is very similar to Kate's style.
Kate is simple, if you want to get her way of dress you don't need to kill yourself going in all the London's store. You must keep imprinted some rules that will be useful.
First of all, Kate loves to mix feminine and masculine. You will never see her dress too much feminine, exept at some special nights of course.
Howsoever, she doesn't wear so many colours. She likes basic colours: black, gray, brown, army green, white.
Remember: always jeans, or maybe leggings with shorts over. Sweaters, cardigan, t-shirts your choise.
She loves big, capacious bag, not clutch or uncomfortable purses. Keep in mind: easiness at first!
She might be eclectic choosing just one element attractive, just like leopard scarf, bags, leggings, or a big bulky fur.
She adores every kind of coats and she has got a lot of blazer, leather jackets.
About shoes, she wears boots, leather or heels, flat shoes or "ballerina" shoes, sandals in summer.
This is a short guide if you want to get inspiration of her style.
I completely adore it. I choose the same elements when I shop, exept that I replace flat shoes (that I hate) with 
sneakers (Converse and Vans).

Kate è semplice, se vuoi avere il suo modo di vestire non hai bisogno di ucciderti andando in giro per tutti i negozi di Londra.
Devi tenere a mente alcune regole che ti saranno utili.
Prima di tutto, Kate ama mescolare femminiltà e mascolinità. Non la vedrai mai troppo femminile, tranne che nelle serate speciali ovviamente.
Comunque, lei non indossa tanti colori. Le piacciono colori basici: nero, grigio, marrone, verde militare, bianco.
Ricorda: sempre jeans, o magari leggings con pantaloncini corti sopra. Maglioni, cardigan, magliette a tua scelta.
Lei ama borse grandi e capienti, non pochette o borsette scomode. Tieni a mente: comodità al primo posto!
Potrebbe essere eclettica scegliendo però solo un elemento che attira, proprio come una sciarpa, borsa, leggings leopardati, oppure una grande pelliccia ingombrante.
Kate adora qualsiasi tipo di cappotto e ha tantissimi blazer, giacche di pelle.
Per quanto riguarda le scarpe, indossa stivali, di pelle o con tacchi, scarpe basse, ballerine, sandali in estate.
Io lo amo completamente. Scelgo gli stessi elementi quando faccio shopping, eccetto che io rimpiazzo le ballerine (le odio) con le scarpe da tennis (Converse e Vans).

Un anno fa, in questo periodo, esattamente verso la fine di Gennaio, ho creato questo blog...Per divertirmi e per rifletterci la mia personalità. Non mi aspettavo che tantissime persone mi avrebbero seguito.
